Avery Johnson to become Alabama basketball coach

The University of Alabama has come to an agreement in principle with former NBA Coach of the Year Avery Johnson to become its new men's basketball coach. Details of what is currently a “handshake agreement” are being finalized with UA expected to make a formal announcement today
