Coming off of a 1-0 loss to the Loyal Greyhounds (4-4) on Friday night in the Battle of Baltimore Tournament, Towson (3-4-1) earned a 2-0 victory over the UMBC Retrievers (5-2) on Sunday at the Tiger Soccer Complex. “After Friday’s loss to Loyola, Assistant Coach Mike Eckberg challenged the team, and I thought that they responded really well,” Head Coach Greg Paynter said.
