McNeese State ran into a buzz saw on Thursday in the second round of the Southland Conference Men's Basketball Tournament when Northwestern State tied a tournament record with 14 three-point goals and used spurts of offensive firepower behind the shooting of Zeek Woodley and Jalen West to run out to a 96-89 win over the Cowboys.
